Munhondo Primary School is located in Darwendale, Mashonaland West. It teaches 487 pupils with 14 teachers.
Before our donation, the school relied on an 8m deep well which dried up in June. This affected both the school and the community, around 110 families.
The community was then forced to walk distances of over 1km in order to procure water.
We donated a 2000L water tank fitted with three filters, taps and a large solar system.
This has bought remarkable change to both the community and the school.
Learners no longer have problems with drinking water, and the school is able to properly sanitize and clean the facility with this newfound water source.
